Vanilla Ice Cream
Posted by Samantha Moniz on
The ice cream attachment for my stand mixer was a sweet gift from my honey a few years ago. I was so intimidated to make my own ice cream because we grew up on Ben & Jerry's. How could I make something to compare?! Turns out, I'd kept myself from enjoying the pleasure of making my own ice cream for far too long. It may not be mixed with chunks of cookie dough, brownie batter and candy but this simple and super creamy Vanilla Ice Cream hits the spot!
Whipped Ricotta Snap Pea Toast

I cannot get enough of this toast. It's simple, fresh and packed with flavor. Sugar snap peas have such an amazing and satisfying crunch and the little bit of sweat heat from the hot honey just bring this all together. Don't sleep on breakfast toast!
Santa Maria Tri-Tip

Tri-tip is the perfect cut of meat for feeding the family. Not only does this 4 lb slab offer us 3-4 servings (Mat eats a ton!) but because of the unique shape, when the center is cooked to medium-rare the ends are medium-well. It’s a happy-medium for serving people with different preferences on their steak temperature. The rub and mop sauce bring a ton of flavor. I also love an excuse to cover something with chimichurri, it makes this cut of beef sing!
BBQ Pulled Pork Rolls

This is the happy accident of overflowing with pizza dough (I'm working on perfecting a dough recipe that I hope to share with you soon!). It's also an ideal recipe to tuck leftovers into. I bet you'll be smoking meats and grilling all weekend, save this recipe for Monday when you're looking to tuck leftover cheeses and cooked meats into something for an easy week night dinner. Grab yourself some store-bought pizza dough or use that trusty old recipe you've got stored away. This dish comes together quickly and is sure to please!
