Peppercorn Roast Chicken

I made this whole roast chicken the other night and juuuuuust as it finished cooking, we lost power due to a crazy wind storm. The timing was perfect! That power outage had us doing things we never do.. taking pictures with a FLASH and eating by candlelight only. We might not have been able to see but boyyyyy was this dinner delishhhh. A simple peppercorn roast chicken does the trick. Top it off with some chimichurri and serve it with rice and steamed broccoli.

Life hack, keep frozen cheese pizza in stock. You can add your favorite toppings and have a delisssssh pizza pie in a flash. As much as I love experimenting with food, cooking up a storm and creating new things, sometimes I just want something QUICK. Frozen pizza to the resssscue! Our favorites are @cappellos (pictured here!) and @againstthegraingourmet💛 Last week the #wellfedfraser had a craving for buffalo chicken pizza and I had just enough random leftovers to pull it together.

Sweet + Sour Pork Loin Roast

The day I tested this I’d gone to the store and got everything on my mental list. I got home and I realized I completely forgot a fresh pineapple 🤬. It was on my written list sitting in the kitchen island but never made it to my mental list. I went ahead and worked with what I had. This recipe was BOMB without the pineapple and I know it would have been even BOMBER with it. That’s life! Sometimes we have everything we need to make the perrrrfect meal and other times, it’s pretty perfect with what we have. Especially now, don’t let a missing ingredient keep you from whipping up something yummy. Make it work people!
