You can never have enough banana recipes in your back pocket while you're waiting for the bananas on your counter to turn brown and spotty. I'm convinced I buy more bananas than we can eat knowing the extra brown bananas will be put to use in a baked good recipe!

Smoked Summer Sausage Pasta Salad

Pasta salad reminds me of summer BBQs in friends' and families' backyards. The carefree kind of summers where you lived in a bathing suit and kept busy for hours running through a slip-n-slide of sprinkler to stay cool. While I may not have a slip-n-slide in my backyard, I have this pasta salad on repeat right now. It's smokey, sweet and spicy all at the same time. The summer sausage used here is a venison smoked jalapeño cheddar sausage from Mat's hunt a year or two back but feel free to use whatever kind of summer sausage you can get your hands on!

Leftover (Meatloaf Dinner) Frittata

Would you believe me if I told you there was a Meatloaf Dinner tucked into breakfast this morning? Welp, there is! We love frittatas. Not only are these great for gatherings and brunch but they keep well and reheat like a dream for meal-prep. Another reason I love these fluffy egg pillows is because I can often tuck leftovers from the fridge into the mix, knowing that the bright yolks of @peteandgerrys eggs will transform it into a whole new meal. We aim for zero food waste and considering how yummy frittatas are, you can bet your bottom dollar none of this goes to waste.
